Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Clearfield County say a Morrisdale man is behind bars after being accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl, on four separate occasions, in the past eight months.
Authorities say William Kempf, 32, facing multiple counts of indecent assault and corruption of minors, as well as one count of attempted aggravated indecent assault, according to online court records.
Police say the investigation into Kempf began in late June when troopers were dispatched to a home in Graham Township for a report of a disturbance where they learned that he had allegedly assaulted the 12-year-old victim.
According to the affidavit, the victim told authorities that Kempf had reportedly molested her, on multiple occasions, beginning in December, and would force her to sit on his lap and watch pornography.
Police say that during the most recent assault, Kempf had allegedly locked the victim's siblings out of the home while he molested her inside the bathroom.
Kempf is being housed at the Clearfield County Prison, on $150,000 bail, court dockets show.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 13.
