SIDMAN, PA (WJAC) -- The Forest Hills wrestling program has a detailed and storied history with plenty of success in the state tournament. But no Ranger has seen quite the success as Jackson Arrington.
In 2019 Arrington was just a freshman and struck gold. Fast forward to 2021 and he did it again in a convincing fashion. Now in 2022 he finished off the back-to-back and closed out his wrestling career with 3 gold medals.
Arrington is signed on to wrestle at NC State. But there was just one more honor left for the three-time state champion before his time in Sidman closed.
Today he was given his third banner to be hung in the gymnasium at Forest Hills High School. Which passed his coach, Jake Strayer, for the most wrestling banners at Forest Hills. Jackson always wanted this for as long as he can remember which makes it so much sweeter.
